Woke emerged as one of the leading startups from the 9th Cycle of DARe Accelerate Bootcamp which was held between September 2022 to January 2023.
The programme, organised by Darussalam Enterprise (DARe), is a startup development programme with the aim to foster growth and facilitate market connections for promising startups in Brunei. Participants have the opportunity to engage with experts and receive mentorship throughout the programme.
Woke was among the nine startups to pitch on Demo Day, the final stage of the programme. In the pitch, we emphasised the impact that money can have on one's life and aimed to address the lack of financial literacy by providing accessible, affordable, and comprehensive financial education for individuals at all stages of their financial journey.
Woke was one of three startups from the programme to pitch on the TOP100 stage at Echelon Asia Summit in Singapore.
Ming shared about Woke's growth progress as well as future plans. We currently have students from 7 countries and are working to expand further. We are also on schedule to launch our own Woke learning platform by end of this year.
As we reflect on our progress, we eagerly anticipate rolling out our new features in the coming months.
